On Thursday 8th October the Spine Crackers went on an excursion to Melbourne and participated in a book making workshop at the State Library. Afterwards we had lunch, visited some book shops, enjoyed the sights and the sunshine.
“When we went to the State Library we got a chance to look around. We also learnt a lot of cool things like in some books the pages are made out of animal skins and how the people paid their taxes. The last thing we did there was learn to make our own hard cover books. When I got home I made another one to make a school planner. Overall I really enjoyed it and I would love to do it again!” Rebecca 8F.
