All speakers are to be congratulated on their performances that evening, and for putting their name down for this extra curricular activity. The students who took part were: Bryce C, Ronan J, Tate E, Ni…

On Wednesday 3rd August 2016 we did a tour of the Library at the Dock and had a ride on the Melbourne Star Observation wheel.

I liked the library visit , got Pokemon there, and liked lunch. Already been on the wheel. Jaiimyn W . 9 F

It was exciting to tour the library and we got to learn about all that they do there but the ferris wheel was a lot more fun as we could see the entire city.

Over the past few weeks, the troops in HOL have been working hard designing and creating their own pallet furniture for their HOL shed.  They have made multiple bench seats each with a personal design as well as stools, pigeon holes and last  but not least, the centrepiece dining table!

Intermediate Boys Soccer

The intermediate boys soccer team coached by Mr Wang headed out to play their inter-school games at Grovedale Reserve on 21 July. They faced a great challenge on that day as only ten players were on the pitch. Though they were knocked out after the group stage every player worked exceptionally hard in the team. Cas (second left from the front row) chose to play until the last minute after suffering an injury in the final game.  Well done boys!

Camp Koala - Student Reflection

Camp Koala

There are a lot of ‘what if’s’ running inside my brain as we drive in a pleasantly calm 17th of July to Camp Wyuna located in Bellarine Peninsula. What if I will just make a fool out of myself?  What if I bore them when I’m going to present about Lara?  What if I always stutter when I try to talk to them? What if they will find me weird?  What if I will be a loner all throughout the camp and so on?  But those…

Medieval Day

22 July 2016

On Wednesday our Year 7 students participated in Medieval Day, actively learning about this period of history. Students experienced some of the games that were traditional at this time, tried on costumes and practiced on musical instruments. A medieval lunch was served, with the added luxury of some tomato sauce and all relishing the vegetable soup accompanying the sausages. Much hilarity could be heard from a number of the activities as staff joined in, particularly with the ‘clubbing’ games (…
