At Lara Secondary College, we are committed to providing students with the skills, knowledge, and support to make informed decisions about their future careers. Our comprehensive careers curriculum is delivered through TLC and Pathways classes from Years 7 to 12, ensuring students are well-prepared for life after school.
We offer a range of student support services, including assistance with work experience and structured work placements, giving students the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on industry experience. Our fully qualified careers counselors are available to guide students through subject selections in the senior years, ensuring they choose the right pathways for both VCE and VCE/VM.
In addition, we provide support for students pursuing apprenticeships, traineeships, and school-based apprenticeships (SBATs), along with Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses. We work closely with the Headstart program to offer students tailored support for these placements, empowering them to succeed in their chosen careers.
